Congratulations Mrs. English!

We are excited to share that our very own Mrs. Shannon English has been selected as MHCBE's 2024 Excellence in Catholic Education Award recipient!

The Excellence in Catholic Education Award honours exemplary contributions to Catholic education. Mrs. Shannon English has been an integral part of Medicine Hat Catholic School Division for over 30 years as she has shared her talents as a teacher, school counselor, vice-principal, and principal.

Mrs. English has impacted the Catholic culture of the division and of each school that she has been a part of. Her servant leadership has been an example for staff and students alike. As an active member of Holy Family Parish and a music ministry leader both in the parish and division, Shannon is an authentic witness to a lived Catholic faith!

As the recipient of this award, Mrs. English will be honoured at the Blueprints Annual Conference hosted by the Alberta Catholic School Trustees’ Association.
